Evaluation of On-Site Oral Fluid Drug Screening Devices

I am very excited to share with you the attached study summary (Download) and the full report available on request (to ala@drugwise.nz ) of a recent oral-fluid device comparison by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in the US. This is a trully independent trial of  saliva drug test devices internationally recognised as used for drugged driving policing and may help you in YOUR choice.

Apart from both the Dräger DrugTest 5000 and DrugCheck 3000 devices being best in class. This is a most favourable evaluation of our two saliva drug test products which this shows as not just the first in meeting AS/NZS4760:2019 in 2019 but showing its class and dependability well above the competition. Even more impressive the DT5000 was used with the THC (Cannabis)cutoff concentration of 5ng/ml which the DT5000 is more than capable of. The DDS device was the only other device to meet minimum thresholds BUT by could only target 25ng/ml THC (Cannabis)the old AS4760:2006 level since changed/reduced in the 2019 standards to 15ng/ml. DC3000 was tested at 15ng/ml THC and both the DT5000 and DC 3000 is verified compliant to AS/NZS4760:2019.  Closer to home the DT5000 was evaluated and accepted by NATA in Australia in over 60,000 tests per annum as having 99.6% correlation to confirmation.  This is why Dräger DrugTest 5000 and DrugCheck 3000 are so widely chosen throughout the world.
